Our fun week!

Musical chair painting!

The preschoolers painted while the music was on.  Once it stopped, they had to stop and move to another painting.  5-6 preschoolers painted on each painting.  These paintings are now hanging around our room to remind them what can come if we do it together! :)

Homecoming Spirit Week Schedule for Elementary Schools

Monday:  Neon Day (wear neon colored clothes)

Tuesday:  Country/Camouflage Clothes

Wednesday:  Pajama Day

Thursday:  "Class Distinction Day"  different grade levels wear different colors to set themselves apart:

• PreK:  purple
• K:  red
• 1st:  blue
• 2nd:  orange
• 3rd:  yellow
• 4th:  green
• 5th:  black

Friday:  Black Out or MP Spirit wear (black and gold)

Our First Field Trip!

We will be taking our first field trip to Sass Family Farms on Thursday, October 10th, 2013.  We will leave at 8:30am for the morning class and 12:30pm for the afternoon class.  Due to the nature of the trip and the size of the location, we will only be taking 2 chaperones per class.  If you would like to join us, please contact me.  The first two parents to contact me will come with us!

Letter practice!

We raced to see how quickly we could get all the letters in the middle of the table, matched with the letter flashcards.  The preschoolers were pretty good at this activity!

Playdough is a fun, tactile way to make letters!

Writing is shaving cream is exciting! :)
